Bimbo’s legacy applications had grown in size and complexity over the years leading to higher infrastructure cost and performance degradation. The company wanted to reduce cost and modernize their infrastructure for scalability, elasticity, reliability, and performance in order to adapt to future business needs. They engaged with Infosys to evaluate multiple hosting options and provide a futuristic and reliable solution.
Probleemstelling van het project
Infosys conducted an assessment to evaluate the fitment and decided to deliver a robust and scalable Infosys solution for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), part of Infosys Cobalt portfolio. Infosys recommended Oracle IaaS, DBCS and Exadata Cloud for improved performance, scalability, cost effectiveness and, most importantly, fitment with the client’s application landscape.
